A
Using this site you are able to purchase a refill PIN, this PIN is a series of numbers that correlate to the plan you purchased and can be loaded onto your device in a few different ways. See next question…
Q
I now have a pin, how do I refill my phone?
A
1. You can refill the phone at the end of the plan purchase checkout process by entering your Phone number or MDN.
2. Dial 611 from your phone and follow the prompts to refill with a PIN purchased previously
3. Go to the refill page of this site and refill by entering your Phone Number(MDN) and the PIN.
Q
Do I have to refill manually every time the plan expires?
A
No! In fact the easiest way to refill your phone is to select the Auto Topup option when you purchase a PIN. You not only get 10% or more discount (depending on the plans selected), you’ll have the peace of mind that your phone will continue to work as long as the Auto Topup option is in effect. We refill your phone the day before plan expiration and you’ll receive an email confirmation on the refill.
Q
Can I add Auto Topup option at a later date?
A
Yes! You can add Auto Topup next time you purchase a PIN, or call our Customer Service Department by dialing 611 from your phone (or 855-566-1776 from any phone).
Q
What are your Customer Service Hours?
A
We are here to serve you 7 days a week, from 8 AM to 9 PM – Central Time.
Q
If I forgot to refill will I lose my phone number?
A
As long as you refill an expired plan within 60 days of expiration, you’ll be able to keep your phone number.
Q
If I don’t like my phone number, can I change to a different number?
A
Yes! Simply call 855-566-1776 from another phone during Customer Service hours and we’ll be able to help you get a new number within almost any zip code in the United States. You need to call from another phone and have the Freedom phone handy as we’ll need to walk you through the phone programming process to have the phone take the new number.
Q
What’s my phone’s warranty?
A
Your new phone has a one year warranty. Call 855-566-1776 or email returns@escphone.com if you need warranty help. For more information, visit the Phone page and click on the “One Year Warranty” button.
Q
If I refill my plan early, will I lose the remaining days of my current plan.
A
No! The number of days provided by the new PIN will be added to number of days left in the current plan, for example if you have 5 days left on your current plan and refill with a 30 day plan, your plan will now expire in 35 days.
Q
How do the 180 Day plans work?
A
The 180 Day plans actually consist of six (6) 30 Day billing periods. When the first 30 day billing period expires, the second 30 day billing period will commence automatically, then the third, then the fourth, until the sixth period ends, then your phone’s service will be suspended temporarily, until you refill with either a 30 day or 180 day plan.
Q
Will my unused balance carry over to the next billing period?
A
Yes, if you refill before the plan expiration, unused balance will get carried over. For example, if you have a 30 day plan with 50 minutes, 0 SMS, and 150 MB left and refill with a 250min/250sms/250mb plan, you will end up with 300min/250sms/400mb.
